About this Event
Actions and intentions—which matter more? And what happens when your best intentions have unintended results? These questions have long been debated in Jewish texts, and author and comedian Josh Gondelman (Nice Try: Stories of Best Intentions and Mixed Results) and author Rebecca Dinerstein Knight (Hex) bring them to the present day. Together with Tablet Magazine’s Stephanie Butnick, they discuss the funny, the unnerving, and the often quite serious business of being human today, and how they explore the subject in their writing.
The conversation will be followed by a reception, book sale, and signing. Admission to the event is free, and includes an opportunity to visit the galleries on the day of the program. Advance RSVP is required; however early arrival is suggested as space is limited, and entry is not guaranteed.
Co-presented with the Jewish Book Council, in partnership with Tablet Magazine.
