    International Holocaust Remembrance Day: A Tribute to the Artists Who Perished in the Holocaust

    About this event

    Mannes School of Music, The New School, Czech Center New York, EUNIC New York, and Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York present a concert in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, 2022. This multimedia concert, entitled “A Tribute to the Artists Who Perished in the Holocaust” will feature young artists of Mannes is a program which the Mannes Sounds Festival presented at the Center of Jewish History on November 9, 2021, in observance of Kristallnacht.

    Gideon Klein (1919-1945): Piano Sonata

     

    Pavel Haas (1899-1944): Songs from op.18

    Hans Krása (1899-1944): Dance for String Trio

    Erwin Schulhoff (1894-1942): Sonata for Flute and Piano

     

    James Simon (1880-1944): Arioso for Solo Cello
