The Beth Or Brotherhood Annual Dinner and Silent Auction is one of the highlights of the synagogue’s calendar each year. It’s a chance for men aged 13 and up to break bread, mingle, and enjoy great food and drink, while helping Brotherhood raise money to fund the many Beth Or and community projects it supports throughout the year.
The Annual Dinner will feature a silent auction containing sports memorabilia, gift certificates from local restaurants, theaters, golf courses, hotels/resorts, and a variety of other items from local merchants. Silent auction participation will be by e-bidding, allowing participants to enter bids and track their progress at the auction on their smartphones, and even kick off the bidding process remotely a few days ahead of of the event!
Dinner will be provided by Infinity Caterers, and will feature a fabulous selection of hors d’oeuvres, buffet main courses and sides, and desserts. Dinner attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a 50-50 raffle with a guaranteed minimum $2,500 cash prize for the winner!
Finally, the evening will be highlighted with a performance by the outstanding comedian/actor Brad Zimmerman. He is the writer and performer of the hit one man show MY SON THE WAITER, A JEWISH TRAGEDY which had a successful off-Broadway run in 2016 in New York City. He is now touring the show all over the country and at the same time preparing the debut of the sequel, MY RISE TO THE MIDDLE. As a comedian Brad has worked with many top performers, including Joan Rivers and George Carlin. As an actor, Brad had the honor of being in one of the most awarded shows of all time, playing Johnny Sacks’ lawyer on THE SOPRANOS. The show will be kicked off by veteran stand up comedian Andy Pitz, who has performed on TV numerous times and is a current regular on the NYC stand-up scene.
