How do objects in the museum tell stories of immigration throughout history? What artworks or artifacts can be added to the museum’s collection to tell the story of the immigration wave from the Former Soviet Union to the United States?
We investigate how Jewish people and their ideas came to America from the 1800’s until our personal modern day stories. Teens will have a chance to learn about their parents’ stories. We will work together to think about and create artifacts or artworks that can best capture our own unique personal and communal experiences.
Join us at the Jewish Museum for a tour of the collection and hands on art making experience led by Asya Gribov.
By registering to this event you grant permission to COJECO to send you info regarding its programs and use your photograph(s) and video in our social media posts and other promotional presentations.
