    Proud to have attended the reception and breakfast meeting in honor of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, at the Turkish House in New York. The Foreign Minister shared his and his country’s views with the #Jewish community leading members. He offered his vision of how #Turkey, #Israel, and the #UnitedStates could cooperate to address pressing issues.

    It is significant to note that today is 19 May, Commemoration of #Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day 2022 in Turkey, and Lag Baomer, the Hiloula of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yohai in Israel, and the Jewish calendar.

    Today, both countries have celebrations of their respective holidays that have a central theme of Peace in their respective countries and Peace in the World, the message #GaziMustafaKemalAtatürk Mustafa Kemal Ataturk told his generation and future generations. Yurtta Sulh Cihanda Sulh!
    The Foreign Minister’s list included:
    combating #antisemitism
    ending the #Russia / #Ukraine armed conflict
    worldwide threat of #hunger due to expected #wheat shortage emanating from significantly reduced production
    #Palestinian / #Israeli conflict the worldwide influx of #refugees, and
    #climatechange 

    H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and Mr. Marko Issever-CEO, America EB5 Visa- New York Jewish Travel Guide

    He and his staff will be visiting #Israel next week to discuss, among other things, how to increase #economic #cooperation and work towards achieving the long-awaited peace in the Middle East.
