The Knosh food truck brings an added layer of convenience for those enjoying the outdoors, offering a relaxed, beachfront atmosphere while still catering to the dietary needs of Jewish guests. On Motzei Shabbos, Knosh reopens one hour after Shabbat ends and stays open for an additional hour. All products at Knosh are Cholov Yisroel. Knosh, Cinkō, and the Shabbat meals at the Hyatt are projects of the Hyatt Baha Mar and are under the strict supervision of Chabad of the Bahamas.

Nightlife and entertainment take center stage at the Baha Mar Casino, the largest in the Caribbean. Featuring a dazzling array of table games and slot machines, the casino exudes glamour and excitement, offering an unforgettable experience for gaming enthusiasts.

In addition, the all-new Jazz Club at Baha Mar offers a fully immersive live music experience, brimming with passionate performances, infectious energy, and a diverse repertoire of jazz and uplifting music to soothe the soul. Grand opening in January 2025, this 300-seat venue, equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, provides the perfect setting for evening cocktails, live entertainment, and special guest performances.

Building on the success of Gensler’s transformation of key food and beverage spaces at Baha Mar, the Grand Hyatt has once again collaborated with the design firm to reimagine its popular jazz bar located within the resort’s casino. The challenge? To create an innovative, vibrant jazz lounge that invites guests to linger and enjoy a dynamic night of entertainment.

Mehdi Natanzi, Director of Food and Beverage, shared insights with the New York Jewish Travel Guide (NYJTG), noting that the current jazz club seats only 70 guests. “With the new space, we’ll be able to accommodate over 300 guests when it reopens,” he said.

In a nod to cutting-edge dining experiences, Natanzi also revealed the integration of Le Petit Chef, an interactive culinary concept. “Guests will enjoy animations that correspond with their dishes,” he explained. “For example, scenes like an aquarium with sharks, stingrays, and vibrant fish, or playful flamingos, will be projected over the bar. It’s designed to be highly engaging.”

The redesign features striking elements, including an open wall with striated bars and light, creating a seamless connection between the jazz bar and the casino. At the entrance, an 11-foot curved LED screen showcases dynamic art, adding visual intrigue and inviting guests inside.Natanzi also noted the club’s relaxed accessibility. “There won’t be a cover charge unless there’s a special guest performance or feature piece,” he said. The culinary offerings will reflect a unique blend of Creole flavors with an Asian-Louisiana influence, adding another layer of vibrancy to the experience.

Natanzi brings decades of expertise in food and beverage operations, having played a pivotal role in achieving outstanding financial and guest satisfaction results at Hyatt properties, including earning the prestigious “Manager of the Year” award at Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
