Tourists who wish to come to Israel from countries that are exempt from a visa to Israel will need to fill out an online form and then receive approval or refusal to enter Israel within 72 hours of submitting the application.
A few months ago, we published in “ITN” about a new form that foreign tourists arriving from visa-exempt countries to Israel will have to fill out. The trial period began a few months ago, but starting January 1, the need to fill out the form will come into effect.
This means that tourists who want to come to Israel from countries that are exempt from visas to Israel will have to fill out the ETA-IL form, an online form that, after filling out, tourists are supposed to receive approval or refusal to enter Israel within 72 hours of submitting the application.
expiration of the passport with which the application was submitted, whichever comes first. This means that as long as an ETA-IL has been granted for travel, there is no need to reapply during the validity period.
There will be a fee for submitting the application. The form will be similar to that required by the US, UK and other countries for visa-exempt tourists.
