The Carlton Tel Aviv, with its Mediterranean views and five-star amenities, never fails to impress

Designed to be a Mediterranean garden under the Jerusalem stars, The Terrace provides a multi-sensory experience. Guests are welcomed into a meticulously crafted space featuring local olive trees, vibrant flowers, a stylish wooden deck, and enchanting lighting. The ambiance is one of chic relaxation, offering a perfect escape from the city’s summer heat.

The culinary experience is curated by the hotel’s celebrated chef, Itzik Mizrachi Barak. The new menu focuses on fresh, high-quality local ingredients, offering a modern take on Mediterranean cuisine. Prices for dishes range from a reasonable 45  ILS to 95 ILS.

Highlights from the menu include: Sea Bream Fillet a la Plancha for a taste of the sea; A succulent 120g Minute Steak Entrecôte and Slow-Cooked Lamb Asado; Flavorful skewers like Tandoori Pargit (chicken) and Adana Kebab with roasted vegetables; Creative vegetarian and vegan options, such as a Pumpkin Steak in a savory barbecue sauce and Vegan Bao Buns filled with tofu; To finish the meal, guests can indulge in decadent desserts like the Exotic Pineapple Cake, Pistachio Pie, or a rich Chocolate Fudge.

No rooftop experience is complete without a unique cocktail menu. The hotel’s expert mixology team has crafted a selection of original, seasonal drinks. The star of the show is the “Jerusalem of Gold,” the Waldorf Astoria’s signature cocktail, created to take guests on a sensory journey through the timeless city.

“We are thrilled to open the summer season with The Terrace,” says Avner On, General Manager of the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. “This elegant and unique summer bar reflects the high standards and uncompromising quality of the Waldorf Astoria brand”.

“The Terrace” is open to both hotel guests and the general public, though reservations are required to secure a spot in this exclusive setting.

Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem, 4th Floor, 26 Gershon Agron Street, Jerusalem, Opening Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 18:30 – 23:00 (Kitchen closes at 22:30).
