About this event
The National Arts Club welcomes French filmmaker Benjamin Steinmann, who presents In Memoriam, a homage to the “Malgré-Nous”, French soldiers of World War II from Alsace-Moselle, forcibly inducted into the German Army. The heart-wrenching movie describes a relatively unknown episode of the horrors of World War II. The movie is presented in French with English subtitles.
This program is presented in partnership with the Union Alsacienne of New York, the oldest French Club in New York City.
