New York Comedy Festival proud to Present for the second time- A special edition of the international Comedy for Peace project. No Politics. Just Laughs. A special night with Jewish-Muslim and Christian comedians. We had a very hard year but we keep travelling and won’t give up! Scroll up and watch our trailer. This is not a political event! Come to support us and be part of a wonderful night of comedy.
The first goal of Comedy for Peace is to show everyone, that we can very easily collaborate, share the stage, have fun, and laugh at ourselves, without any politics involved The project was established 4 years ago, since then we have had shows in 50 cities in America and Canada. It is hard times, but we have to stay together and believe in a better future Come join us for a great night of comedy, come support humanity! All profits from the evening will be donated to peace organizations

Liz Glazer
A Jewish, lesbian comedian, actor, and writer who used to be a tenured law professor, a job she was very funny at. Liz is a recent first place winner of the Boston Comedy Festival and Ladies of Laughter Competition and has opened and opens for Myq Kaplan and Maria Bamford. Her recent debut album A VERY PARTICULAR EXPERIENCE — recorded at two sold out headlining shows at New York Comedy Festival — debuted at #1 on the iTunes comedy charts where it stayed for 6 days and was featured in the New York Times. Liz has also been profiled for her comedy by the Wall Street Journal, a premier publication for comedy.
Ashley Austin Morris
A christian actress, writer, and comedian. Regularly at New York’s Gotham Comedy Club, West Side Comedy, Stand up NY, New York Comedy Club and Dangerfield’s. She has also appeared on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live and part of our interfaith edition. Ashley will appear on the upcoming Netflix Sketch Show staring Eliza Shlesinger and the new CBS show. Tommy, Other TV Credits: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon) Prodigal Son (FOX). During 2022 she released her first comedy album, ‘Slightly Off’.
Erik Angel
An Israeli-Jewish comedian and the founder/producer of the Comedy for Peace. Born and raised in Israel, moved to New York few years ago. Since then, he has been performing all around the world. He appears at Carolines on Broadway, The Laugh Factory in L.A., and many other significant venues all over the US. He has opened for major headliners including Maz Jobrani, he regularly tours Europe, and performed in Israel and Tokyo. He’s been seen on NBC, was part of a few comedy festivals and have more than 3M views on Tik-Tok. His comedy is very surprising, clever, high energy, deals with being a recent immigrant, fortyish, a newlywed, that he’s Jewish, and speaks English-Falafel 24/7.
Gibran Saleem
A Muslim American comedian that was born and in North Carolina and raised in Virginia in a Pakistani household. Gibran is the only comedian to ever be chosen as a finalist for both the Stand-Up NBC and NBC Late Night program. Gibran has been featured on MTV, TV Land, Popcorn Flix, PBS, CUNY TV, VOA, Elite Daily, and Cosmopolitan and performed his stand-up television debut on Gotham Comedy Live for AXS TV. He is a staple among college campuses and travels throughout the year.
Chase DuRousseau
An award-winning comedian from Houston, TX that’s performed in 5 continents. A former video store clerk, he despises digital media and vows to get vengeance by bringing it back to its physical glory. Every show he does is different, come watch him goof off live!
Mahesh Kotagi
An American-Indian Stand-Up comedian, writer and actor who delivers sharp social commentary layered with NYC’s straightforward style and wrapped up in California’s laidback breakfast burrito vibes. On stage he is a somewhat nerdy jokester who’s fixated on the power of pointing out the weird and the quirky.
