    David M. Weinberg is a lead columnist for The Jerusalem Post and Israel Hayom newspapers, writing on Israeli diplomacy and defense, Israeli politics and society, and Israel-Diaspora relations. (See www.davidmweinberg.com)

    He is director of public affairs at Bar-Ilan University’s Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies; Israel office director of Canada’s Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs; and senior advisor of the Tikvah Fund in Israel.

    He has been senior advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Natan Sharansky, founding coordinator of the Global Forum against Anti-Semitism in the Prime Minister’s Office, spokesman for the Herzliya Conference on National Security, and spokesman of Bar-Ilan University.

    A precise and passionate speaker, he has lectured in Israel, Canada, the U.S. and Europe to Jewish and non-Jewish audiences – at strategic studies and university international relations centers; and at Jewish organizations, federations and synagogues. He has appeared as an expert on CBC, CNN, Israel TV and Radio, and been quoted in The New York Times and other international publications.

    Mr. Weinberg holds a Master’s degree in international relations from Bar-Ilan University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto. He also studied at the Hebrew University and at Yeshivot Hakotel and Har Etzion. He is married with six children and lives in Nof Ayalon in central Israel. Kosher vacation.
