Pinzolo is a very famous vacation village in the heart of the “Dolomites”, surrounded by snow capped mountain scenery, forests and marvelous views.

Ski

 

The town is located in the wide Sarca valley, at the feet of majestic mountains – granitic on the right side and dolomitic on the other. 150 km of pistes in the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena ski area served by 61 ski lift systems, including the new Pinzolo-Campiglio Express cablecar, which wend their way through ever-changing landscapes and also descend into the valley.

A playground area on the snow has been set up for kids at theTana di Rendy and Prato Matto in Prà Rodont.

Ski-runs are ideal both for beginners trained by the local ski-schools’ instructors, and for more expert skiers, who will find the right slopes to test their skiing techniques.

Expert skiers cannot miss out the DoloMitica piste, Pinzolo’s latest ski slope that has already become a legendary run. Served by the new Tulot lift, the DoloMitica runs down to the valley floor with two different routes: the DoloMitica Tour (5.5 Km long) and the DoloMitica Star (3.5 Km long) with a maximum gradient of over 70%.
