The Sunbeat Music Festival is Israel’s leading summer music, global beats event. Taking place over one weekend in June in a beautiful green parkland setting in the green mountains of the Northern Galilee region of Israel, Sunbeat draws some of Israel’s biggest home-grown musicians, as well as a diverse array of international musicians. Echo, Yemen Blues-Ravid Kahalani,Shai Tsabari-Şy Ẕbry, Boom Pam, Lucille Crew, Buttering Trio, Gili Yalo, Onogana, Groove Ambassadors Şgryry Hgrwb, Liraz… to name a few. Sunbeat attracts passionate, groovy, and upbeat music lovers from Israel and beyond, and is set to be something to remember. Sunbeat 2016 features a Travelers Stage in which we’ll invite readers, friends, and travelers from around the world to jam with locals and create something truly special. About the Sunbeat Festival
The Sunbeat Festival was first held in 2011. A huge success, the festival presented to its mostly Israeli audience some of the most energetic Global Beats acts from Israel and beyond. In the following years it continued to draw a warm, positive & open minded crowd who originate from Israel and beyond.
Sunbeat takes place among the green mountains of the Northern Galilee, where cool streams, endless vegetation, and green meadows have created a venue somewhat reminiscent of the Garden of Eden.
Sunbeat represents the new global village culture, which draws its inspiration from east and west, fusing different cultural backgrounds and musical heritages – presenting everything from the traditional folklore to the cutting edge technology and sounds of tomorrow.
Besides the live shows, the Sunbeat Festival hosts DJ’s and producers, visual art installations, circus and dance acts, and more.
