Renowned Israeli Chef Yoram Nitzan — previously head chef of Tel Aviv’s Mul Yam and Bindella restaurants — announces the opening of his latest culinary venture, nomi, at InterContinental David Tel Aviv.
Just steps away from Tel Aviv’s Carmel market, nomi is influenced by cooking techniques hailing from kitchens across the globe. nomi brings an innovative take to fine Kosher dining in which Chef Nitzan will present dishes bursting with the aromatic tastes and flavors indigenous of Israeli cuisine, sourcing the majority of his ingredients from local, Israeli suppliers.
nomi couples the chef’s immaculate attention to detail, years of experience, and exceptional culinary flair with high-adrenaline cooking, culminating in lunch and dinner menus showcasing a tempting selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes.

Chef Yotam Nitzan: “Following months of meticulous discussions and planning, I am thrilled to take on the new challenge of crafting a new, high-end kosher restaurant after years of specializing in seafood. nomi’s dishes unite to present a menu infused with traditional Israeli tastes and flavors, concocted from simply the best ingredients sourced from Israel as well as abroad.”

For meat enthusiasts, dishes of succulent, Slow Roasted Goose Leg and a mouthwatering Onglet steak are sure to delight, and fish lovers can rejoice among Dover Sole in a turnip lemongrass broth and a Grilled Fillet of Grouper, elevated by colorful vegetable medleys. Fans of Chef Nitzan can expect to find his signature White Root Vegetable Soup as well as homemade pasta and risotto.
