Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo: One of Tokyo’s Top 5* Hotels

Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo: One of Tokyo’s Top 5* Hotels

The Keio Plaza Hotel serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the city’s wonders, offering a wide range of services. Its central location in the heart of Tokyo significantly enhances the overall experience. Within a brief 10 to 15-minute stroll, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant neighborhoods of Shinjuku, Takashimaya Times Square in Shibuya, and the renowned Odakyu and Keio department stores. Additionally, the conveniently located Tochomae station, just 3 to 4 minutes away, further enhances the hotel’s accessibility. As an added convenience, right outside the hotel’s side entrance, you’ll find remarkably spacious and well-illuminated underground tunnels that directly connect to Shinjuku station, making transportation incredibly convenient for guests.

The Keio Plaza Hotel is, without a doubt, vast in size, and its lobby functions as the ideal central gathering spot for guests. The hospitality experience is truly exceptional, apparent from the very moment you enter the hotel, with an unparalleled level of pampering and the distinctive Japanese courtesy exemplified by every member of the staff.

The room provided a delightful atmosphere, and the panoramic city views were genuinely breathtaking. I was highly satisfied with the room’s generous size and serene ambiance, especially in the Plaza Premier Luxe Corner King room, which boasted a luxurious king-size bed and wonderfully plush pillows. The level of cleanliness was impeccable, further enhancing the overall comfort of the stay.

The service at the Sky Lounge was truly exceptional and left me pleasantly charmed. The atmosphere there is truly delightful, making it a memorable experience. This self-service lounge is versatile, catering to various needs, from business meetings to a rejuvenating tea break during the day. Here, you can indulge in complimentary coffee, cake, pastries, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft beverages, all while savoring the picturesque view.

The hotel presents an outstanding array of dining choices, with a primary focus on Japanese cuisine. However, it also features a Korean restaurant, a French or Italian dining venue, and a Western-style buffet for breakfast. The breakfast menu offers a diverse range of delicious food and beverage options, all complemented by the soothing melodies of Mozart playing in the background, creating a delightful dining experience.

The Keio Plaza Hotel offers a special treat for the younger guests with its enchanting Hello Kitty-themed rooms! These rooms are completely adorned with Hello Kitty decor, right from the carpets, wallpapers, sofas, and chairs down to the washrooms. Staying in one of these rooms is an absolute delight, fulfilling every child’s dream of living in a Hello Kitty Wonderland.

To make the experience even more magical, there’s a dedicated Hello Kitty Breakfast Room Service Menu to explore. Be sure to check out their fantastic menus; they are sure to capture your heart.

And for those lucky guests staying in the Hello Kitty-themed rooms at the sister city hotel in Tama, there’s an opportunity to take home some delightful Hello Kitty amenities, including an original Hello Kitty doll, a Hello Kitty plastic bag, and a Hello Kitty pen, making the stay truly memorable for Hello Kitty enthusiasts of all ages

Another fantastic perk is the convenience of booking a variety of tours right at the hotel’s tour desk, which conveniently departs from the lobby. Furthermore, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus service to Tokyo Disneyland, and arranging a limousine to the airport is a breeze.

One standout amenity that truly enhanced my stay was the complimentary smartphone provided in the room, complete with free Wi-Fi for map navigation, email access, and local and international calls. This eliminates the need for confusing local SIM cards or Wi-Fi rental packages. Additionally, it was a relief to discover that all data on the phone would be automatically wiped clean on the day of check-out.

The thoughtful touches continue with a plug converter readily available in a drawer and a Nespresso machine for coffee enthusiasts in the room.

Overall, my experience in Tokyo was nothing short of amazing, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. It’s a fantastic choice, offering outstanding service, and it’s perfectly situated in the heart of Shinjuku!
