Located at the historic 19th-century neo-Roman, former French hospital and monastery, The Jaffa has been fully restored by British architectural designer John Pawson and local Israeli conservationist and architect Ramy Gill. Led by Aby Rosen, co-founder, and owner of RFR Holding LLC, the neo-classical building was lovingly restored for over a decade, maintaining the raw, untouched surfaces. To preserve the building’s history, the new building has been seamlessly adjoined with the original, resulting in amazing features, such as a 13th century Crusader’s bastion wall snaking through the modernist lobby.
