The Jaffa Hotel and Residences are situated in the 4,000-year-old port city of Jaffa, which is part of Tel Aviv’s municipality and one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of this celebrated city.  Located at the historic 19th-century neo-Roman, former French hospital and monastery, The Jaffa has been fully restored by British architectural designer John Pawson and local Israeli conservationist and architect Ramy Gill. Led by Aby Rosen, co-founder, and owner of RFR Holding LLC, the neo-classical building was lovingly restored for over a decade, maintaining the raw, untouched surfaces. To preserve the building’s history, the new building has been seamlessly adjoined with the original, resulting in amazing features, such as a 13th century Crusader’s bastion wall snaking through the modernist lobby.

“After a two-year hiatus the beauty and special experiences offered at The Jaffa could not be more welcome”, says Aby Rosen, co-founder, and owner of RFR Holding LLC. Jaffa has always been a special place for us, but we never imagined how fast it would become one of the most elevated and vibrant locations in the country combining the old city with great shopping, an advanced culinary scene, nightlife, vibrant port, and amazing hospitality.”

Since its opening in 2018, the hotel has won numerous awards including being named one of the best hotels in the Middle East and in the country by Conde Nast Traveller’s 2021 ‘Gold List’, best new hotel around the world by Travel + Leisure’s ‘It List’, TIME’s world’s greatest places, among other leading hotel and design accolades.

The Jaffa offers 120 hotel rooms and suites, 32 luxury residences, and a roster of impressive amenities. These include an outdoor pool and sundeck, L. Raphael spa, 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness center, Golda’s restaurant, Shesh Besh bar and lounge, lobby boutique, and The Chapel event space.

Michael Schmid, General Manager adds:
“We know our guests’ needs have changed over the last year and a half. Recent research shows that those who may have traveled once every few months are traveling once a year, placing emphasis on quality over quantity. Our property offers a unique experience of contemporary luxury enriched with a remarkable story of Jaffa’s ancient past.”
