An Oasis in the Sky: Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Unveils “The Terrace” Rooftop Bar

Two of the most luxurious hotels—the Mitzpe Hayamim Hotel in Rosh Pina and The David Tower Hotel in Netanya—are just two examples

The Mitzpe HaYamim Hotel, one of the Isrotel chain’s luxury hotels, which remained closed to the public throughout the war, reopened this week.

The hotel, located in Rosh Pina, is surrounded by blooming orchards, spice fields, an organic farm, livestock, and a dairy, which provide the hotel with the exceptional culinary raw materials in the Farm to Table concept.

In addition, the hotel includes a spa complex with 20 advanced treatment rooms, including a selection of body and health treatments, a jacuzzi overlooking nature, a semi-Olympic indoor and heated swimming pool, a wet and dry sauna, and a fully equipped gym.

The reopening of the hotel also brings good news for meat lovers. Ranch House, a steakhouse, will be opening a branch at the hotel.

Benny Levy, VP of Marketing and Sales for the Isrotel chain: “The Isrotel chain is proud to take part in returning the northern tourism industry to a routine of activity and is contributing to creating jobs and encouraging local residents to return to normal as much as possible. The trend of renewal of the tourism industry in the north is an excellent opportunity to return and offer our guests unforgettable experiences. We are excited to return our hotels to full operation and invite our guests to return and enjoy the stunning nature of the north and the highest level of hospitality.”

The David Tower Hotel in Netanya

One of the best hotels in the city of Netanya is the David Tower Hotel, a luxurious 5-star spa hotel located right in the city center, opposite the promenade and the sea.

The hotel, from the Prima chain, has 77 rooms and suites, most of which overlook the sea. The hotel’s uniqueness is its royal design, which is impossible to miss from the lobby.

The design, in an eclectic style that combines East and West, in shades of black and white, with lots of gold and marble, was inspired by the story of the Ottoman Sultan David Pasha.

The design of the hotel resonates in the suites and rooms—European elegance with oriental touches, the use of light white tones with touches of gold, parquet floors, and Persian rugs.

The 74-square-meter suite includes a large living room with a sofa, armchairs, and a table. The separate bedroom features a king-size bed and another TV that drops from the ceiling. The shower room is enormous and includes, in addition to a shower, a free-standing bathtub.

The suite also has a balcony with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and Sironit Beach and sun loungers. To complete the experience, the suite also includes a smart Modoo system for distributing luxurious aromatic scents as well as a classic turntable with a selection of records to listen to.

The jewel in the crown of the Tower of David Hotel is its spa—Via Maris Spa, located on the second floor of the hotel, overlooking the sea. The spa covers an area of 1,000 square meters and provides a perfect solution for all the pleasures of the spa world: treatment rooms equipped with electric beds with a warming mattress, a double treatment suite, an authentic Turkish hammam where you can receive traditional Turkish treatment, a wet sauna, a Finnish sauna, a well-equipped and advanced gym, an indoor, covered, and heated swimming pool, and a lounge and relaxation area in an authentic traditional style befitting a sultan.
