Opened in 2018 in the Nuevo Vedado neighborhood of Havana, Chateau Blanc is an upscale kosher-certified bed and breakfast that offers a modern, comfortable environment with premium food, carefully prepared according to kosher standards. With a focus on providing authentic kosher experiences, the hotel quickly became a vital resource for both local Cuban Jews and international Jewish tourists. It also contributes significantly to Jewish tourism, providing a gateway for those who want to connect with Cuba’s unique Jewish history.
Beyond Chateau Blanc, Saul Berenthal and his family have also made critical contributions to preserving Cuba’s Jewish heritage.
